Welcome to High Energy Athletic Training Club, LLC (HEAT). HEAT is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of the USA Track and Field Organization (USATF), and provides opportunities for youth ages 8-18 to train for and compete in USATF track meets at the state, regional, and national level, as well as to improve speed and agility for enhanced performance in other sports.
HEAT is a new track/athletic training club that is located in State College, PA. Our program was developed to provide a positive training environment that allows today’s youth to excel and attain peak performance. Each athlete has the opportunity to compete in youth meets and achieve success at his or her own level. Youth meets and races are more than competition, they are also fun! Regardless of whether young athletes achieve a personal best, win a medal, or earn a shot at international competition, they will have the opportunity to make new friends and a lifetime of memories!
Under the direction of Head Coach Fritz Spence, each athlete receives professional, positive, and personal coaching instruction to help recognize and reach their potential as a track and field athlete. For more information on the extensive qualifications of HEAT's coaching staff, please visit our Meet the Coaches page found here.
HEAT is responsible for various meet activities during the track season. Coaches and staff volunteers are required to have a background screening conducted before they can assist the track club.
